At the end of 2023, we had a photovoltaic system installed at the Agotové school, financed by Airdrink and the Bouches du Rhône department 13, to ensure that the cost of the energy needed to run future water generators would no longer be an obstacle to water production. 

Airdrink called on YOORG, an authorized distributor of Victron Energy solar solutions, to equip the Agotové school with solar panels and lithium batteries. The system can also be used to power other electrical appliances. All energy production is remotely monitored by the Victron Vrm system via a 4G modem and a production analysis portal.

The shipment of the 5 machines was quite a journey, and the installation an exceptional event for the village. After electricity, drinking water, fresh and mineralized as close as possible to the beneficiaries!

5 machines use more than 120 liters of water/day
equivalent to the drinking water needs of 75 to 100 children.

Since 2022, Airdrink has been working tirelessly to give the people of the villages of the Notsé commune access to drinking water.

Our efforts are beginning to pay off, with 10 atmospheric water generators now operational. A symbolic number that we have managed to reach thanks to the support of the Metropole Aix Marseille ProvencetheAgence de l'Eau Rhône Méditerranée Corsefrom Department of Boûches-du-Rhône and our local partners Oped and Mairie de Notsé.

• December 2023 Construction of 4 "ECOSAN" ecological dry family latrines, hygiene awareness-raising by OPED Togo and installation of 4 mains-connected water generators in the AMAKPAPE, DALI and KLOEGNAME health centers. Observation: easy to deploy in centers with electricity, but this increases the price per liter of water.
  
• April 2024  Airdrink's photovoltaic system: 5 new machines that operate completely independently, so there are no additional costs for the village of AGOTOVÉ thanks to the photovoltaic system financed by Airdrink (Agotové project)

Since 2022, Airdrink has brought water, sanitation and electricity to 5 villages around Notsé. 

In the interests of sustainability and quality control, maintenance and filter replacement have been entrusted to the technical department of the Notsè town hall (Haho 1) and to the maintenance contractor Lawson TEVI, whose company TFID operates in the air-conditioning sector. A table has been set up to monitor filter changes and any occasional interventions.

But we're not stopping there!

Building on the success and directly measurable impact of these first 10 generators, a 500-liter-per-day generator at the Agotové village center for around 800 beneficiaries will be deployed in the coming months, along with the construction of a dozen additional latrines (see Our upcoming projects).
